With a slightly distressed finish, this matte black picture frame gives you a chic rustic look. Made from natural wood, its deep rabbet floats your art up to a 1 5/8” canvas, suspending and separating it from the frame for an outstanding appearance. We provide it all: brackets and screws to attach canvas to moulding, plus wire and heavy-duty D-rings for hanging. Measuring Tip: measure canvas at the corners for accurate sizing to account for any warping. Artisan made in High Point, NC.

This black floater has a 'distressed' look to the edges that was perfect for my painting of a buffalo resting in a grassy field at deep sunset. The frame was the perfect complement to the mood of the painting.

Why did you choose this?

I chose this frame for a series of food paintings for a restaurant. I like that it is simple. The distressing keeps it from looking too flat.

I love floater frames! This frame will be perfect for my OOC of a bison at rest in a golden field of grass at late sunset.

I chose this frame because it was being hung in a place that I needed a small thin frame.

Can I get CFS6 as small as 5 x 10? Web site order site shows a 6" minimum?
Kathy on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for submitting your inquiry regarding the CFS6 Frame Katherine. At this time we do not offer a 5" height or width of this frame. The smallest size we can offer is 6". The heavy duty machinery we use to cut the moulding consist of very sharp blades. Cutting a frame at 5" would be too close safety wise for our Machine Operators. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you and
