Intermediate Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Design monthly epromos
  • Create internal ads
  • Basic html maintenance such as copy changes and CSS style changes
  • Ongoing updates to each area of site relating to current specials and promotions
  • Ongoing website graphic improvements
  • Prepare web graphics for new product additions to our site
  • Prepare graphics for business services proposals
  • Participate in photo shoots for catalog cover concepts, new products and proposal graphics
  • Image searches in support of catalog production
  • Catalog ads, cover designs and tear sheets
  • Optimize graphics for web

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience with HTML, CSS and print
  • Experience preparing and optimizing web graphics (Flash design will not be used in this position)
  • Clear understanding and experience applying principles of typography and design hierarchy
  • Basic understanding of color theory
  • Intermediate to advance experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Dreamweaver
  • BA or BFA in Art, Graphic Design or related field
  • Passion for art and art history
  • Ability to work independently while staying focused on deliverables
  • Strong contributor in a team environment
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Familiarity with the following a plus:

  • Photography
