Commemorating a Retirement
The Titan Corporation, a contractor providing support for the F-14 Tomcat airplane, wanted to commemorate the retirement of the aircraft with a thank-you to all its employees who had worked hard to make the Tomcat a success. PictureFrames.com made beautiful giclee prints of a photograph of the F-14 and framed them with a specially cut mat and plaque for over 350 Titan employees involved in the project. The gifts were so well-received that there was an additional round of requests from other Titan employees and military personnel who happened to see the prints.

For those who spent significant portions of their careers working with the aircraft, its last days in the air were emotional times. Like a powerful racehorse, the F-14 inspired awe and reverence in everyone who worked with it, as well as a feeling of pride in their mutual achievement in making this mighty machine a reality. Now those people have a permanent reminder of their role in the life of the Tomcat — and even though it's retired, the plane will always fly on the walls of their homes and offices.
