We are excited to support non-profit organizations that serve causes we all care about.

Creative Charities
As a company founded by artists, the power of creativity is so close to our hearts. Some of our favorite organizations are dedicated to using art & photography to engage, inspire & empower our youth.

Critical Exposure
We know how much of an impact art & photography has in enriching the lives of young people. And Critical Exposure does just that. This organization teaches youth to use the power of photography to become effective advocates for social change. Over the course of 8 years, the leaders at Critical exposure have worked with over 800 students in D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas, New Mexico & Louisiana to improve public policies that secured more than $400 million in new funding for underfunded schools.

NYC Salt
As a company with roots in New York City, and a penchant for all things art, we couldn’t help but fall in love with NYC Salt. This organization is dedicated to using top-quality instruction from photography professionals to help inspire success for inner city teenagers in NYC. NYC Salt engages kids with digital photography, giving them a creative outlet and introducing creative career possibilities that they wouldn’t have otherwise been exposed to. The program is so powerful that all their students graduate from high-school & apply to college with many earning scholarships. YAY for NYC Salt!

Environmental Charities
Like you, we want to ensure that our planet's resources & natural beauty are protected. As a picture frame provider, we are, and have always been, conscious of the consumption of natural resources used in our industry. We were a cofounding partner of The Woodlands 2000 Foundation, decades ago, which was responsible for planting millions of trees. After actively supporting its cause for many years, we looked outward to other organizations dedicated to protecting those same resources.

American Forests' Global ReLeaf
American Forests' Global ReLeaf has been a special partner of ours for years. We love their program for so many reasons, but the greatest by far is that it doesn't take much to make a big difference. Every single $1 donated plants a tree to improve local & global environments. And, to date, they have planted over 40 million trees to restore damaged forest ecosystems in every state in the US & in more than 38 countries. With more than 20 years dedicated to planting projects, we want to help ensure this organization & our forests continue to thrive. Go Planet Earth!

Oceana
Who doesn’t love the beauty & tranquility of the deep blue sea? We support Oceana because of all the good they do to conserve our world’s oceans. Founded in 2001, Oceana is the largest international organization focused solely on ocean conservation, helping return our oceans to former levels of abundance. In ten years, Oceana has achieved dozens of concrete policy victories for marine life and habitats. From stopping bottom trawling in sensitive habitat areas to protecting sea turtles from commercial fishing gear, Oceana’s victories represent a new hope for the world’s oceans.

1% of promotional sales went to Oceana in honor of National Oceans Month in June.

American Heart Association
As the nation's oldest and largest voluntary health organization, the AHA advocates good health and funds cutting-edge research - all to help prevent American's No.1 and No.4 killers, heart disease and stroke. This effort hits close to home here at pictureframes.com because our own Anne Howell underwent a heart transplant and is now living a full life because of the efforts of such programs.
