Artist Spotlight - Sandi Fell:
A Spiritual Journey Through Art
Experiencing Sandi's Art
Sandi Fell paints with oils and also works with collage and mixed media. Her expressionistic style often combines vivid colors with words of passion and encouragement to inspire the observer.
When people are viewing her art, Sandi would like them to experience a shift in their thinking, "When things get crazy, I hope that someone will look at [my art], stop for a moment, take a deep breath and be reminded that there is so much more in life than keeping up with 'the rat race.'"
While Sandi's customers come from all walks of life, some are especially drawn to her radiant imagery, "I think the majority of my customers are fellow seekers — people who are also on a spiritual journey; people who are looking to improve themselves and the world around them."
The Journey
Sandi's own spiritual journey would eventually lead her to an epiphany.
"For as long as I can remember, the only thing I ever wanted to do was to be an artist," says Sandi. For years, she flourished in a career of commercial art and art directing but kept her true passion to paint in the archives of her life.
Then one auspicious day, she discovered the Law of Attraction (now made famous by the 2006 film, The Secret).
The Law of Attraction, as well as the Law of Deliberate Creation and the Law of Allowing, are positive-thinking theories based on the idea that “energy attracts energy.” For Sandi, these principles assure us that, “We are all powerful creators of our own experience. We can absolutely attract all the positive things that we wish to experience in our lives!”
She felt so inspired that ultimately, The Law of Attraction and its sister philosophies became her muse and she began to paint again — as a professional. "I have allowed the love of my life, my painting, to become the dominant force in my life and I have never been happier!" says Sandi.
Painting with "The Laws":
A Creative Process
Sandi uses her newfound inspiration to fashion a creative process that opens locked doors and allows beauty to burst forth. She now paints, "only in an absolute state of joy and well—being."
Before she begins an idea or picks up a paintbrush, Sandi will meditate. "During my meditation, I ask my 'guides' for direction," explains Sandi. "I focus on all the blessings in my life — the absolute joy that I get from creating art and the intense love and desire that I feel for teaching these simple principles."
After about a half hour, Sandi begins her creation, "It's an exhilarating experience. I could paint like that all day, everyday and hardly even notice time go by."
Sandi ♥ pictureframes.com
In order to paint like that all day, everyday, as a successful, professional artist, Sandi Fell needed to find a reliable printing and framing provider. Her husband found pictureframes.com while searching online for a dependable source. Since then, Sandi has taken full advantage of the special services just for artists and photographers.
"My husband and I have been working very closely with Jane Rhem and William Tiemann, as well as Bob Beaver. In my career, I have never met anyone else more professional than this team!" Sandi raves.
She prints fine art quality giclee editions and even provides framing options to her customers on her website. Sandi has pictureframes.com ship directly to clients, freeing extra time to do what she loves most — create.
"I want to rest assured that when I place an order and Graphik Dimensions [parent company of pictureframes.com] ships my matted, framed giclee print directly to my customer, that they are getting a piece of fine art that I can be proud of. I have that confidence in this team. I get that quality from Graphik Dimensions."
