Pro Quality Frame
The 3PGD Espresso/Gold frame is exactly what my work needed to bring it up a notch or two in overall quality and professionalism. This frame compliments my work well and I didn't have to bump up the gold leafing on the inner liner.

gorgeous frame
I bought this frame for the first time and was not disappointed. It's a very well constructed frame for the money and made my painting come to life. I will definitely purchase more of these and I only wish they came in more sizes or at least custom sizes.

I've this frame! Just what I was looking for, but wish is wasn't as expensive.
This is a lovely frame! I'm an artist mainly painting landscapes, and the color and look of this plein air frame is just what I was looking for. Black is often too dark, and too flat. This frame is dark brown with a slight satin sheen. Looks slightly distressed. Perfect....just wish it were not as expensive and it would be perfect! It's areal challenge for artists who are trying not to spend a lot of money on frames while paying commissions to galleries/exhibits and still sell the work at a marketable price. Custom framing really hikes up the price overall, so framing myself. Next step...learn to construct the entire frame from molding and assemble myself. However, I'd rather spend the time painting. Can you do any better on the prices?

The warm colors in the frame will compliment the warm tones in my painting. I also have some golden colors, I thought the frame should have some hints of gold, just a little bit. I don't want the gold to overpower the gold in my painting. It also has a deeper rabit, something lacking in many other frames.

Have used this plein air style as well for many of my paintings. Great to have on hand at competitions for a nice presentation.

The dark brown frame will bring the eye in and back to the painting while the gold inner ridge will bring out the warmth in the skin of the model.

A mainstay in my frame supply. The hint of gold highlights my paintings well.

a great, traditional but neutral frame.

Looking for a good quality professionally looking espresso colored plein air frame for a painting to be exhibited. Hoping this one looks good when it comes in. I can get other colored plein air frames of decent quality and cheaper with no shipping costs at my local Jerry's Artarama...but they don't have this color. If I like it I will consider reordering. Wish the price were less (even with a 20% promo code it still brings the cost up higher than I'd like, but cheaper than custom).

needed a substantial brown frame and this seems to fill the bill

Beautiful traditional frame…rich color that sets off a painting beautifully!

I do mostly plein air and impressionist paintings and like darker frames. I love the classic look of these and so do my collectors.
Larry D on Mar 3, 2017
Classic profile, nice width, and the gold is subtle, not overwhelming.

Bought for a specific painting, and thought this frame color, size and style would look great. The 25% site-wide Valentine's Day discount and no sales tax helped seal the deal.

This is a great standard frame that goes with almost anything! Wish it came in custom sizes.
