Love My Frame
Perfect for my paintings. I painted this on a canvas board so it was not very thick. The inside measurement is 1/2 inch so if a regular canvas is more than that you can use an off set clip to secure it.

Nice Frame.
Nice packaging, however, it was dusty and scratched before shipped. Had to touch up with stain to avoid sending back. Canvas clips dId not fit but I modified to work. I would recommend the frame, still cheaper than custom frame. Overall look was great when I was finished.

This frame compliments my painting.

Appears most like the rustic pecan frames I have used for framing my diplomas and engineering licenses, the bit of linen gives a classy look that helps my framed work stand out without the addition of matting that requires a larger frame.

Deep enough for my canvas, and simple enough to not distract from the art.

I am an artist and have numerous unframed drawings lingering around. Recently had my kitchen and pantry painted and decided wanted to hang some of my drawings on my bare walls. Did research for frames and was drawn to this site because the color and size configurations matched perfectly with visual I had for framing one of my drawings for my pantry.

I have two paintings that could be hung as a diptych. However I have decided to hang them as independent pictures. This frame is a bit on the elegant side but also rustic enough to complement these landscape paintings.

will it take a 3/4' canvas frame?
A shopper on Jun 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The depth inside is 1/2 inch therefore the canvas will protrude 1/4 inch. I would use off set clips, metal brackets with offsets of 1/8”, ¼” or ½” that screw into the back of the frame and reach up to overlap the stack. In fact, ½” offset clips are deep enough to hold stretched canvas in most frames and are a quick, easy solution to the problem. Can purchase through hardware or discount store (Wal-Mart)
I am looking for a frame for needle work. The actual needle work is 16x28. What do you suggest as a frame size. I have at least 3" inches framing the needle work. Should I reduce to inch around needle work? Would I look for a frame 18 x 30? I would like foamcore backing and glass or plexi glass. Can you suggest? Thank you
j s on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello! Please use the overall size of the needle work for the frame size. Please measure your needle work from top to bottom and from left to right and enter that size for the frame size. If you need further assistance, please give us a call at 1-800-332-8884. Happy Framing!
