fake wood not solid, rather like particle brd. with a thin overlay finish, easily damaged

Same as review title.
You get what yo8u pay for.
For quality go to your local frame shop
to discuss what you expect & be prepared to pay more
for quality, if framing fine art is important to you.

Beautiful Color

This frame was thinner than I expected, but the color and finish of the wood is beautiful. I used it on a canvas that is on narrow stretchers that are only 5/8 inch thick and the canvas protrudes in the back. I kept the canvas in the frame though because the frame's hansom color goes well with the canvas. The frame would be great for works on paper.
