What is the Mail in Your Art (MIYA) Service?
The MIYA service is provided by pictureframes.com to allow customers the chance to have their personal art professionally framed and finished by our team of experts.
Can I send you my art to be framed?
Yes. Through our MIYA service you can mail us your prints, posters and unstretched canvas art to be professionally framed.
What types of art can I send to be framed?
We currently only accept unstretched canvas art or paper art. We do not currently accept cross stitch, needlepoint, tapestries, or clothing. The artwork that you wish to send must be able to be rolled and placed in a tube in order to be eligible for the MIYA service.
What materials do I need to begin a MIYA order?
We request physical pictures of art so that we can review the art quality, sizing and borders. These photos are to help us review the condition of the art, as well as to help identify the order once it is received. We also ask that you please confirm the dimensions of the artwork as well.) These photos can be sent via email at firstname.lastname@example.org We also require a signed waiver to be sent in with your artwork.
How large would the borders around my canvas art need to be in order to participate in the MIYA service?
We ask for a minimum of 3 inches for the artwork borders to ensure that we can stretch your art.
What is the largest size art I can mail in to be framed?
The maximum accepted size is 50” by 50”.
What is the process to set up a MIYA Order?
You can begin your Mail In Your Art/ (MIYA)order for any artwork on paper, online. To start the online order process for paper, just choose your frame and select the mail in your art option on the frame page. Enter your size, choose your accessories and add your presentation to your cart. Once the order is placed, we will contact you to complete the details. If your artwork is on canvas or you have a detailed presentation please call in to place your order at (1-800-332-8884) Mon-Fri, 8 am to 7 pm EST. to speak to a customer care advisor and get your order started.
