The acrylic did not fit into the frame. About 4 inches along the longer side starting at the corner was One eight to a quarter of an inch too long. I had to have someone grind it down.

Can I use this to frame a 1" thick canvas?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for reaching out to us! This frame is 13/16" thick and will not be able to hold your 1" canvas. We do have metal canvas floaters that have a depth of 1" for you to use!
How much allowance is given on a metal frame?
