Wish it was solid maple
First, the customer service at pictureframes.com is outstanding! I'm a very happy customer. I purchase these frames frequently to frame my oil paintings for gallery display. They really look nice, but I so wish I could get these frames in solid wood. The current frame is a "wood product" with a printed maple grain covering of some sort. If you ever add a solid maple frame (or any light color wood) to your line, I'd be first in line to try it out.

Wall collage to match 24x36 botanical. I wish you had had a 3/4" profile for this frame so they would have been proportional to the large framed piece, but I had to make sure the woodgrain/color would match - so this will have to do. :/ I'm sure I can make it work. :P

BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't say there is a sheen, but it doesn't really look unfinished. I would say it has a natural wood color with a soft satin finish. Nice frame though, I'm pleased with it.
Is this picture frame solid Maple or veneer?
